Michael Ganley, Mpls. Police Dept. <br /> CALL TO ORDER: The St. Anthony/New.Brighton C.H.E.M. Council meeting <br /> - met on April .19, _19:88 at SAV Middle School.. The meet- <br /> ing was called to order at.7:,'0 p.m.by the president, John <br /> Pugleasa. <br /> MINUTES: The minutes of the March 15, 1988 meeting were <br /> approved. <br /> TREASURER'S REPORT: The Treasurer was unable to attend. <br /> • OLD BUSINESS: John reported that the CHEM-Council officers have <br /> completed their visits to the St. Anthony and New <br /> Brighton City Councils and District 282 School Board. <br /> Our minutes should also be sent to New Brighton Council. <br /> The Omnibus Insurance Bill, SF 1845, (Senators Luther <br /> and Peterson) did not pass this legislative session. Jack <br /> Baker suggested.separating the segments of the Bill that <br /> effect chemical dependency. John will call Evelyn <br /> Holthus.to ask for recommendations on which areas of the <br /> bill to isolate for neat session. <br /> A letter was sent from the CHEM Council to SAV City <br /> Council and Planning Commission members about the <br /> "Malt Shop" venture presented to us last month by Mike <br /> Bonaventura. The letter said that we had no objections. <br /> BYLAWS: CHEM Council members are asked to review the enclosed <br /> bylaws for the next meeting. <br /> • <br />
