Reconvened Board of Review <br /> April 23, 1991 <br /> Page 3 <br /> 1 Mayor Ranallo read a letter received from Jake Cadwallader, Property <br /> 2 Manager of Real Property Management Company, regarding properties <br /> located at 2938 and 3004 Old Highway 8 which are fourplexes. He is <br /> 4 requesting consideration for value reduction. <br /> 5 Mr. Becken advised that this property owner can be considered as having <br /> appeared at the Board of Review and can come before the Board of <br /> P Equalization. The City Manager noted that this property owner is <br /> 9 requesting an analysis done on the basis of income. <br /> 10 <br /> 11 Motion by Marks, second by Enrooth to add the properties located at <br /> 12 2938 and 3004 Old Highway 8 as having: appeared at the Board of Review <br /> 13 and secure the owner 's right to appear at the Board of Equalization. <br /> !N <br /> 15 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 16 <br /> 17 David Jacobson, 3336 Highcrest Road , had sent a letter to the Board of <br /> 18 Review held on April 9, 1991 . The City Manager stated that Mr. Jacobson <br /> 19 was requesting acknowledgement of his letter having been received and <br /> 20 was not requesting a property reviewal . <br /> 21 <br /> 22 Mr. Becken advised that appointments to appear at the Board of Equalization <br /> 23 should be made by June 10th as the Board will be meeting for two weeks <br /> 24 starting June l7th. Each property owner who will be appearing will- be <br /> 5 allotted ten minutes to present his/her information regarding the value <br /> 2 <br /> • 25 of the property. He noted that all property owners who have appeared <br /> 27 at the City's Board of Review have been advised of the Findings of <br /> 98 the Hennepin County appraiser of the value of their property. This <br /> �9 advisory letter also explains how their value can be appealed at the <br /> 30 Board of Equalization. The Ci.ty Manager was requested to notify those <br /> 31 property owners who had attended the April 9th Board of Review and <br /> 32 were not present at this Reconvened Board of Review as to the process. <br /> 33 Doug Jones explained that a property owner can apply for an abatement <br /> 34 which must be done by May 15th.
