I would recommend you accept • <br /> the proposed price, <br /> The additional costs for removal of the two extra segments of unstable <br /> arch pipe will consist of 12 more feet of pipe at the bid price (about $1500) <br /> and a small additional charge for demolition. <br /> I spoke with Denny Palmer about grouting of voids and repair of spalling <br /> on the pipe invert. We have some people with extensive experience in concrete <br /> repair using epoxies and other materials. I will try to talk with them today. <br /> Denny is of the mind that because the void is such a small job relatively <br /> speaking that it may not be economical to do much study, but just go in and <br /> fix it.
