He observed <br /> 10 that Councilmember Marks had spent time with the visitors for <br /> 11 nearly their entire visit . <br /> 12 <br /> 13 Councilmember Marks acknowledged many of the other people who <br /> 14 had welcomed the visitors and hosted them at special. events . <br /> 15 He mentioned the members of the Sister City Committee, the <br /> 16 City Councilmembers , the City Manager, City staff and members <br /> 17 of the School Board. <br /> 18 <br /> 19 <br /> 20 9 . NEW BUSINESS <br /> 21 <br /> 22 A. Resolution No. 92-032 ; Re: Set Public Hearing Date for <br /> 23 Apache Tax Increment Financing <br /> 24 <br /> 25 The Mayor advised that he and members of the Council and of <br /> 26 the City staff have been meeting with representatives of the <br /> 27 Apache Corporation and Super Valu. One of the purposes of <br /> 28 these meetings is to attempt to set up a Tax Increment <br /> 29 District in the area where a CUB store is being considered for <br /> 30 location. <br /> 31 <br /> 32 Mayor Ranallo stated his preference to schedule this public <br /> 33 hearing for a date when a regular Council Meeting is <br /> 34 scheduled. <br /> 35 <br /> 36 Motion by Marks, second by Wagner to adopt Resolution No. 92- <br /> 37 032 being a resolution calling for a public hearing on a <br /> 38 redevelopment plan and tax increment financing plan. <br /> 39 <br /> 40 The date for the public hearing is Tuesday, August 25, 1992 at <br /> 41 7 : 30 p.m. <br /> 42 <br /> 43 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 44 <br /> 45 <br /> 46 B. Ordinance No. 1992-006 , Re: Recycling (First Reading) <br /> 47 <br /> 48 This ordinance mandates that all persons who owns or occupies <br /> 49 property within the City for business , commercial or <br /> 50 residential purposes contract for collection services for <br /> 51 mixed municipal solid waste with a hauler who is licensed to <br /> 52 do business in the City of St .
