He noted that members of <br /> 12 the Council feel there are still some areas in the ordinance <br /> ' 3 which should be more stringent . <br /> 14 The City Attorney stated he has not reviewed this ordinance at <br /> 15 <br /> 16 this point in time. <br /> 17 <br /> 18 The Mayor advised he has spent some time working on this <br /> omfortable with it . He suggested that the <br /> 19 ordinance and is c <br /> Z0 City Attorney review it and find if there are some areas which <br /> 1 could be more stringent and yet legal . The Mayor noted that <br /> 2 model ordinances from Oft Sale unic iTruth 1_In Housing were considered <br /> and <br /> 23 the issues of Point <br /> 24 for consideration .. <br /> 25 <br /> Planning Commission had <br /> 26 The City Manager stated that the <br /> 27 removed the Truth in Housing section . It was the position of <br /> 28 members of the Planning Commission that this requirement could <br /> 29 delay a sale and may be a duplication of some i-nspections <br /> 30 required by lenders . <br /> 31 <br /> . 32 The CY�airperson of the Planning Commission stated that an <br /> 33 appraisal would rtheIn Housengfclauseconcerns which would be <br /> 34 included in a Tru <br /> 35 <br /> 36 The City Manager advised that the language which addressed <br /> 37 sump pumps and backflow prevention was amended by the <br /> 38 Management Assistant . <br /> 39 he City would <br /> 40 The Mayor inquired The City tManager responded ethat this licensing is <br /> 41 rental property . <br /> 42 already being done. <br /> 43 <br /> 44 Councilmember Marks noted that some language regarding <br /> 45 composting could be included in the ordinance which would <br /> 45 accommodate composting of certain items .
