• City of Saint Anthony Proposed Sign Ordinance Revisions <br /> Draft #4 -- September 2 , 1992 Page -17- <br /> 1 (3) The sign is replaced. <br /> 2 (4) Any new primary sign is erected or placed in connection with the <br /> 3 enterprise using the legal non-conforming sign. <br /> 4 1400.16 ENFORCEMENT: If a sign is in violation of this Chapter, or is in danger of <br /> 5 falling, or is otherwise a menace to the safety of persons or property, the City Manager may <br /> 6 give to the owner of the property on which the sign is located, written notice specifying the <br /> 7 violation, ordering the cessation of the violation and requiring either the removal of the sign <br /> 8 or remedial work in the time and manner specified in the notice. In the event of failure to <br /> 9 comply with the notice within 30 days, the City Manager may remove the sign or cause such <br /> 10 remedial work to be done. The cost of the work performed by the City must be paid to the <br /> 11 City by the owner of the property by certifying the costs to the County Treasurer for <br /> 12 collection in the same manner as real estate taxes. If a sign which has been removed is not <br /> 13 reclaimed and costs paid within 30 days after its removal, the sign may be sold or otherwise <br /> 14 disposed of by the City. If a sign is found.to be an immediate danger to the public because <br /> 15 of its unsafe condition, it may be removed without notice, and written notice of removal and <br /> 16 reasons for the removal will be given to the owner of the property on which the sign located <br /> 17 as soon as possible. <br /> First Reading: September 8 , 1992 <br /> Second Reading: September 22, 1992 <br /> Adopted: <br />
