Subd. 30. Supplied. Paid for, furnished by, provided by or under the control <br /> • of the owner, operator, or agent of a dwelling. <br /> Subd. 31. Meaning of Certain Words. Whenever the words "dwelling", <br /> "dwelling unit", "premises", or "structure" are used in this Section 355:00, <br /> they shall be construed as though they were followed by the words "or any <br /> part thereof". <br /> Subd. 32. Undefined Words. Words not specifically defined in this Section <br /> 355:00 shall have the common definition set forth in a standard unabridged <br /> dictionary. <br /> Section 355:15 Responsibilities of.Owners and Occupants. No owner or other <br /> person shall occupy or let to another person any dwelling, unless it and the <br /> premises are clean, sanitary, fit for human occupancy, and comply with all <br /> applicable legal requirements of the State of Minnesota and the City, including the <br /> requirements set forth in this Section 355:00. <br /> Section 355:20 Maintenance of Shared or Public Areas. Every owner of a dwelling <br /> containing two or more dwelling units shall maintain in a clean and sanitary <br /> condition the shared or public areas of the dwelling and premises. <br /> Section 355:25 Maintenance of Occupied Areas and Facilities. Every occupant of a <br /> • dwelling shall maintain in a clean and sanitary condition that part or those parts of <br /> ,the dwelling and premises that the occupant resides in and controls and those <br /> fixtures and facilities used by the occupant. <br /> Section 355:30 Storage and Disposal of Refuse and Rec clv ables. Every occupant of a <br /> dwelling shall store and dispose/recycle of all refuse and recyclables in a clean, <br /> sanitary, and safe manner as prescribed by City ordinances. Every owner of a an <br /> apartment building shall supply facilities for the sanitary and safe storage and/or <br /> disposal/recycling refuse/recyclables. In the case of single or two-family dwellings, it <br /> shall be the responsibility of the occupant to furnish such facilities. The storage of <br /> refuse and recyclable collection items shall not be kept in the front yard setback. <br /> Section 355:35 Storage of Wood. Wood used for fireplaces shall be stacked, at least <br /> 12 inches off the ground. Woodpiles shall not be in the front yard setback: <br /> Section 355:40 Responsibili!y for Storm and Screen Doors and Windows. The <br /> owner of a rental dwelling unit shall be responsible for providing and hanging all <br /> screens and storm doors and storm windows whenever the same are required under <br /> the provisions of this Section 355:00. <br /> -9- <br />
