• CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> RESOLUTION 93-031 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE ST. ANTHONY CITY COUNCIL <br /> DIRECTING ADVERTISEMENT OF BIDS FOR <br /> 37TH AVENUE N.E. AND PENROD LANE <br /> CONCRETE STREET REHABILITATION <br /> WHEREAS, the City has received plans and specifications for the construction of proposed <br /> improvements: <br /> 37th Avenue N.E. Concrete Pavement Rehabilitation, from Silver Lake Road to <br /> Stinson Boulevard. This is an M.S.A.s. designated street and the improvements <br /> will be funded with M.S.A.S. funds. <br /> Penrod Lane N.E. concrete pavement and water main improvements from 37th <br /> Avenue N.E. to 36th Avenue N.E.. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony,: <br /> 1. The City Manager shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official newspaper <br /> and in the Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon the making of <br /> such improvements under such approved plans and specifications. The <br /> advertisement shall be published for 21 days, shall specify the work to be done, <br /> shall state that bids will be opened and the responsibility of the bidders will be <br /> considered by the Council at a future date, in the Council Chambers of the City <br /> Hall, City of St. Anthony. Any bidder whose responsibility is questioned during <br /> consideration of the bid will be given an opportunity to address the Council on <br /> the issue of responsibility. No bids will be considered unless sealed and filed <br /> with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or <br /> certified check payable to the Clerk for five percent (5%) of the amount of such <br /> bid. <br /> Adopted this day of , 1993. <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> City Clerk <br /> Reviewed for administration: ` <br /> City Manager <br />
