CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> RESOLUTION 96-063 <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE JOINT AND COOPERATIVE POWERS <br /> AGREEMENT RELATIVE TO THE MIDDLE MISSISSIPPI RIVER <br /> WATERSHED MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION <br /> WHEREAS, the St. Anthony City Council is committed to the stewardship of our surface <br /> and groundwater resources; and <br /> WHEREAS, the St. Anthony City Council believes the wise management of our water <br /> resources requires that water be viewed from a watershed perspective, and <br /> WHEREAS, the St. Anthony City Council recognizes the need to cooperate with <br /> neighboring jurisdictions to effectively manage our water resources. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council.of the,City of St. <br /> Anthony does hereby agree to sign and enter into the Joint and Cooperative Powers <br /> Agreement creating the Middle Mississippi River Watershed Management Organization. <br /> Adopted this day of , 1996. <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> City Clerk <br /> Reviewed for administration: <br /> City Manager <br /> • <br />
