MEMORANDUM <br /> DATE: January 21, 1998 <br /> TO: Mayor and Councilmembers <br /> Michael J. Morrison, City Manager <br /> FROM: Kim Moore-Sykes, Management Assistant 4 <br /> ITEM: January 20, 1998 Planning Commission Meeting Summary <br /> 1. Doug Bergstrom was re-elected as Chair; Chris Makowske was re-elected Vice Chair. <br /> 1 Jim Gondorchin was designated as the Planning Commission representative to the <br /> January 27th Council meeting. <br /> 3. Public Hearings: <br /> a. 98-01, Seviola's request for side yard setback variance was unanimously <br /> recommended for approval. <br /> b. 98-02, Chazin's request for subdivision of property was unanimously <br /> recommended for approval. <br /> c. 98-03, Autumn Woods' request for a conditional use permit was <br /> recommended for approval; 5 ayes, 1 abstention (Makowske, because the <br /> family business does work for Autumn Woods). <br /> 4. Joint Meeting with Council. Chair Bergstrom asked that the Commissioners think <br /> about topics or issues that they want to discuss with the Council at this meeting. <br /> He asked Staff to also to get from the Council, any issues or topics that they want <br /> to discuss. ,He spoke positively about this upcoming meeting as it gives the <br /> Planning Commission an opportunity to talk one-on-one with the Council about <br /> things that are important to the City. <br /> 5. The Planning Commission adjourned'at 8:30 p.m. <br />
