CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> RESOLUTION 98-050 <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HIRING OF TWO <br /> PART-TIME COMMUNITY SERVICE OFFICERS <br /> WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony Police Department has requested authorization to hire <br /> two part-time Community Service Officers (CSO's) to handle non-police duties, <br /> i.e., animal complaints, traffic control, etc., thereby allowing full time police <br /> officers time for patrol, problem solving, creating community partnerships, etc.; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, a federal grant is being sought to help defray City costs for the CSO's. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony <br /> hereby authorizes the St. Anthony Police Department to hire two part-time Community Service <br /> Officers. <br /> Adopted this day of _ ' 1998. <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> City Clerk <br /> Reviewed for administration: <br /> City Manager <br />
