REPORTS FROM COMMISSIONS AND STAFF. <br /> 6 B. Engineering Issues Todd Hubmer, WSB & Associates, Will Be Present. <br /> 7 Mayor Cavanaugh introduced Todd Hubmer, WSB & Associates, and invited him to address the <br /> 8 Council. <br /> 9 Mr. Hubmer explained that there were four items on the agenda to review, and an additional two <br /> 10 items that he would like to add to the agenda. <br /> 11 1. Sale of Homes on Pahl Avenue (Resolution 00-063). <br /> 12 Mr. Hubmer stated that bids were received for the Pahl Avenue Purchase and Removal of <br /> 13 Homes Project, and on July 17, 2000,the bids were opened and read aloud. A total of <br /> 14 three bids were received, and of those three bids, WSB would recommend Otting House <br /> 15 Movers of Lakeville, MN, for a total amount of$11,200.00 <br /> 06 Motion by Horst to approve Resolution 00-063, a Resolution Approving Sale of Homes <br /> 17 for Relocation, wherein the City Council of the City of St. Anthony hereby approves the <br /> 18 sale and relocation of the structures located at 2700 and 2704 Pahl Avenue and awards <br /> 19 the sale of said properties to Otting House Movers in the amount of$11,200.00, which <br /> 20 bid is deemed to be in the best interests of the City. <br /> 21 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 22 2. House Demolition and Pahl Avenue Pond Construction(Resolution 00-064). <br /> 23 Motion by Horst to approve Resolution 00-064, a Resolution Approving Demolition of <br /> 24 Property and Awarding Bid for Demolition and Pond Construction,wherein the City <br /> 25 Council of the City.of St. Avenue and awards,the bid for said demolition and pond <br /> 26 construction to G.L. Contracting, Inc., at a cost of$67,882.00, which bid is deemed to be <br /> 27 in the best interests of the City. <br /> 28 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 29 3. Flood Relief Grant Program. <br /> 30 Mr. Hubmer noted that the City had received a total of four applications for participation <br /> 31 in the 2000 Flood Relief Grant Program. Each applicant was contacted either by phone <br /> 32 or in person to discuss the water problems they have experienced, and to determine their <br /> �3 eligibility for participation in the Flood Relief Grant Program. <br />
