Specific uses for the Salvation Army property include interpretive education <br /> facilities and programs, trails,natural resources initiatives in the areas of wildlife, forestry, water <br /> quality management as well as the preservation of open space. <br /> The Park District's .Board-of Commissioners will consider the agreements for this proposed <br /> • acquisition at its regular' of Felguary 15, 2001.' Prior to formal consideration of this <br /> matter, the District.requests that the City of St. Anthony authorize by resolution our acquisition <br /> of ithe Sliver Lake Camp site. <br /> Representatives from the Park District and Salvation Army will be present at the February 13, <br /> 2001 City Council Meeting to -answer questions about this proposal.
