Saint Anthony Northwest Quadrant Master Planning Study Preferred Concept Plan Communications February 12, 2001 In order to ensure the community is informed about and involved in the process over the next couple months to develop a preferred concept plan, the following communications will take place. First Newsletter—(7 to 10 days before March 10 Issues Forum) .Description—Brief Q&A, one-page double-sided, to update the community on the planning process that is underway and provide key messages about the process, the need for redevelopment, the market study results for the area, the opportunity for more housing options and begin to forecast change. This piece will also be used to inform the community of the upcoming March 10 Community Issues Forum. Second Newsletter—(7 to 10 days before Apri1,10 City Council Meeting) . Description-This newsletter will provide the public with the feedback from the Community Issues Forum and March 15 workshop and inform them of the April 10 City Council Meeting for review and approval of the preferred concept plan. Third Newsletter—(Following Council Meeting April 10) Description—This newsletter will report back the results of the review and consideration of the preferred concept plan at the April 10 meeting. The newsletter will also provide the preferred concept plan along with a description of it. The newsletter will provide information on the rest of the process and address any issues/questions that may have arisen. Other Communications— Description -- The information provided in the newsletters will also be provided to the public through the City's web page, the hotline, Cable-TV, and the city newsletter.News releases will be issued at key points in the process.
