There is a lack of training and office space and inadequate dormitory space; there is inadequate storage for vehicles,
equipment and records; the building has structural concerns and it is not handicapped accessible.
• Since the Public Works Building was built in the 1960s, its crew has grown from 3 to 15 and the number of maintenance vehicles
has increased significantly to meet the City's needs. The Public Works building has inadequate office, training and meeting space;
inadequate storage space for vehicles, supplies and records; inadequate restroom facilities and is not handicapped accessible.
• The Public Facilities Study Group and planning firm will report to the City Council on facility needs in later this year and will
recommend options to meet those needs nett year.The City Council will make decisions on how to meet the needs next spring.
3 W
Cif
