ANTHONY <br /> 2 <br /> 3 HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY MEETING <br /> 4 <br /> 5 APRIL 8, 2003 <br /> 6 <br /> 7 CALL TO ORDER. <br /> 8 Chair Hodson called the meeting to order at 10:14 p.m. <br /> 9 <br /> 10 ROLL CALL. <br /> 11 Commissioners present: Chair Hodson; Commissioners Sparks, Thuesen, Horst, and Faust. <br /> 12 Commissioners absent: None. <br /> 13 Also present: Executive Director Michael Morrison. <br /> 14 <br /> 15 I. APPROVAL OF APRIL 8, 2003 H.R.A. AGENDA. <br /> 16 Motion by Sparks to approve the April 8, 2003 Housing and Redevelopment Authority Agenda <br /> 17 as presented. <br /> 18 <br /> 19 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 20 <br /> 21 II. CONSENT AGENDA. <br /> 22 Motion by Faust to approve the Consent Agenda, which consisted of: <br /> 23 <br /> 24 A. H.R.A. Meeting Minutes of March 25, 2003, and <br /> 25 B. Claims. <br /> 26 <br /> 27 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 28 <br /> 29 III. GENERAL POLICY BUSINESS OF THE H.R.A. <br /> 30 A. H.R.A. Resolution 03-006 re: Requests Council call a public hearing relating to <br /> 31 modification of TIF plan/district. <br /> 32 Executive Director Michael Mornson presented the resolution and explained that the Council is <br /> 33 taking the necessary steps to establish a TIF district. <br /> 34 <br /> 35 Motion by Thuesen to adopt H.R.A. Resolution 03-006, re: Requests Council call a public <br /> 36 hearing relating to modification of TIF plan/district. <br /> 37 <br /> 38 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 39 <br /> 40 IV. STAFF REPORTS. <br /> 41 Mr. Morrison noted Roger Larson provided a report to allow the Council to continue to monitor <br /> 42 the costs of the Apache Plaza redevelopment. He noted costs have been incurred but have not <br /> 43 cost the City any expenses at this time as they have all been reimbursed to date. <br /> 44 <br /> 45 Mayor Hodson encouraged the redevelopment team to continue to move forward with or without <br /> 46 assistance from the Met Council. <br /> 47 <br /> 48 Mr. Morrison noted an updated report would be before the HRA in the next 60 days. <br />
