• Possession of Child Pornography (02-007473) —Received information <br /> from informant regarding adult male in possession of child <br /> pornography. Search warrant executed on St. Anthony residence, <br /> child pornography recovered. One adult male arrested and charged <br /> with the possession of child pom. <br /> • Prostitution (02-008566) — Information received from several sources <br /> regarding two separate businesses operating massage parlors in St. <br /> Anthony. Search warrant and arrests occurred in 2001 on one <br /> business. Additional undercover investigation and search warrants <br /> executed on additional business in 2002. Both search warrants <br /> resulted in arrests for prostitution of several individuals and the <br /> closing of both businesses. <br /> • Burglary of Residence (02-009381) — Extensive investigation resulted <br /> in the identification of six juvenile males involved in burglary. <br /> Burglary involved repeated entries into home. Multiple individuals <br /> interviewed and property was recovered. One juvenile male charged <br /> with burglary. <br /> • 4`h Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct of a Vulnerable Adult (02- <br /> 001704) — Information received from complainant regarding sexual <br /> contact of a vulnerable adult by her contracted driver. All pertinent <br /> parties interviewed. Adult male suspect not charged due to lack of <br /> witnesses and the inability of the vulnerable adult to relay <br /> circumstances. <br /> As you can see, the St. Anthony Police Department investigates offenses <br /> very similar to that of any big city. <br /> Our department strives to keep these offenses at a minimum. When these <br /> offenses do occur, we investigate vigorously and work hard at solving <br /> these crimes. This hard work.results in a very high clearance rate when <br /> compared to Hennepin and Ramsey County averages. <br /> 15 <br />
