44 <br /> CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br /> RESOLUTION 03 -058 <br /> A RESOLUTION TO DENY A COMPREHENSIVE SIGN PLAN <br /> AND SIGN VARIANCE REQUESTS FOR 2500 HIGHWAY 88 <br /> WHEREAS, Northgate Office Park, 2500 Highway 88, has submitted a comprehensive sign <br /> plan and sign variance requests; and <br /> WHEREAS, the proposed sign plan is a package which includes the following variances: <br /> 1. An 8 foot height variance to allow for a 16 foot sign <br /> 2. A 10 foot setback variance to allow a 5 foot setback from the driveway <br /> 3. A variance of 16 square feet to allow for a sign surface area of 96 square <br /> feet for two copy surfaces <br /> 4. A variance for a pylon sign; and <br /> WHEREAS, at a public hearing held on July 15, 2003, the Planning Commission reviewed and <br /> recommended the Council deny the signage requests from Northgate Office Park, <br /> finding that although a sign is needed, the signage proposed does not adhere to <br /> City standards. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony, in <br /> agreement with the findings of the Planning Commission, hereby denies the signage variance <br /> requests submitted by Northgate Office Park, 2500 Highway 88. <br /> Adopted this day of , 2003. <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> City Clerk <br /> Reviewed for Administration: <br /> City Manager <br />
