VIDEO UPDATE, 2510 KENZIE TERRACE, CONDITIONAL USE <br /> Section 9, Subd. 3 .5 of the City's Zoning Ordinance (p. 21) provides <br /> that "video tape sales and rentals" are allowed as conditional uses. <br /> The applicant, Craig Belisle (Video Update, 2510 Kenzie Terrace) <br /> received a conditional use permit on February 28, 1984 (minutes <br /> attached) . He recently expanded his operation (doubled the size) <br /> without any building permit and without conditional use permit ap- <br /> proval. As of this writing, we are still trying to determine who the <br /> contractor was so that we can take appropriate action with respect to <br /> the Building Code. <br /> The extension of the conditional use permit would normally be just a <br /> formality, however, Video Update is also in violation of the City's <br /> sign code regarding flashing lights. The conditional use permit <br /> should be approved with the same conditions as the original permit <br /> but with the added condition that the flashing lights be removed. If <br /> they do not comply, the entire conditional use permit for Video Update <br /> should be rescinded. <br /> :cjkll.15.88 <br />
