No one reported failure to <br /> 35 receive the notice or objected to its content and Mr. Childs indicated <br /> 36 he had received no calls on the request at all. <br /> 37 <br /> 38 In his February 13th memorandum related to the request, the Manager <br /> 39 had reminded the Commissioners that this request was similar to the <br /> 40 99G Video store which had been approved for the St. Anthony Shopping <br /> 41 Center and he had included the pertinent minutes of both Commission <br /> 42 and Council meetings where that decision had been made. <br /> 43 <br /> 44 Craig and P4ary Belisle , 1993 Ames Avenue , St. Paul, were present and <br /> 45 Mr. Belisle reiterated the statement in their letter of application <br /> 46 that their standards in merchandising would be of the highest as <br /> 47 supported by the fact that 3M had chosen the Video Update franchise <br /> 48 to test a new leisure tape , considering them to be the best quality <br /> 49 franchise in town. IIe said they have no connection with any video <br /> 50 arcade and anticipate no problem with complying with any City <br /> 51 ordinances. When Commissioner Bowerman told him he had noted the video <br /> 52 store in the St. Anthony center had a lot of traffic, Mr. Belisle <br /> 53 said he and his partner were going to broaden the hours of operation <br /> 54 and install a drop box to cut down the congestion of people returning <br /> 55 tapes . lie indicated the business would be utilizing 1200 square feet <br /> 56 of the small shopping center which is across from the Kentucky Fried <br /> 57 Chicken store . <br />
