CITY OF ST. ANTHONY
___REgUEST_FOR_PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION
------------- -----------------------------------------
Date Submitted Type-of Action Requested Agenda Item N er
February 13, 1984
Concept Review
X Formal Action/Motion Public Hearings-D.
Date Action Title
Requested Informational
Other Wa 1 bon Lot Split
February 21 , 1984
----------------------------------- ----------------------------------
' TO: St. Anthony Planning Commission
FROM: David M. Childs, City Manager
- ------------------------------------------------------------------------
SUMMARY DISCUSSION OF SUBJECT: We looked at this last time as a concept review.
The attached survey shows the split as proposed by the Walbons. It would result
in two distinct, legal , single family lots of 9,600 square feet for the interior
lot and 11 ,000 + square feet for the corner lot. Based on the drawing, - no variances
are needed. The neighbor (Mrs. Dorumsgaard to the west has expressed a desire to
r straighten the lot line on the east side of her property. To date, the parties have
not been able to agree on a price, however, if they do agree to straighten the line
in some manner, a variance will be required because the lot will not be wide enough
at -the setback line.
ALTERNATIVES :
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the plat and would also recommend
approval of the needed variance, if the property exchange/sale efforts between the
neighbors are successful .
ATTACHMENTS :
X Plan X Application Form
X Mailing List Letters of Support/Objection
X Notice of Hearing
CITY MANAGER.'S REVIEW: COMMENTS -
