Anthony <br /> Chemical Abuse Information Committee had requested City funding of <br /> • <br /> $1, 100 for 19.8.4.,,and Councilman-,Marks reiterated, as he had reported <br /> in the Committee ' s January 17th minutes , that he had advised them that <br /> it would -b�e-:=preferable in the future to submit such requests early <br /> in the spring ' so that funding can be considered when the budget for <br /> the following year is developed. Councilman Ranallo traced the history <br /> of the City ' s relationship"with the Committee for Councilman_ Enrooth ' s <br /> benefit and the Manager told him the City ' s financial participation <br /> had been relatively minor. <br /> Motion by Councilman Ranallo and seconded by Councilman Marks to <br /> authorize the funding of $1, 100 from the Council ' s Contingency Fund <br /> for 1984 for the St. Anthony Chemical Abuse Information Committee for <br /> the purposes listed in the Committee ' s request. <br /> Motion carried unanimously . <br /> Since the membership fees to the National League of Cities had exceeded <br /> $500 , further authorization had been directed by the Council during <br /> their January 10th meeting. <br /> Motion by Councilman Marks and seconded by Councilman Enrooth to <br /> approve payment of $556 for 1984 membership in the National League of <br /> Cities . <br /> Motion carried unanimously. . <br />
