He noted that with- the bowling
- opera•t-ion gone -- the site- -could- be developed and be more
attractive .

Commissioner Werenicz has mixed feelings regarding the
proposals . He noted the building is shoddy in appearance and
feels the bowling business may be too difficult to be made a
viable enterprise in that location .

Chair Faust is concerned about problems which could come from
this type of business, especially with the mix of senior and
young adult populations . He did not see it as his place to
dictate the economic viability of a building nor interfere
with this new concept .

Commissioner Gondorchin again stated he feels the location can
be better served with another development and the building
clearly is in poor condition . He also noted, based on some
testimonials from patrons of the Fun Center and presented by
Mr. Logan, it would be a very poor environment for troubled
youth.

Commissioner Franzese felt the proximity to the senior citizen
retirement homes is not desirable .

Commissioner Thompson did not state his position as he was
still formulating it .

Chair Faust summed up the consensus of the Planning Commission
as not being supportive of this operation nor of granting a
conditional use permit . He advised Mr . Logan he can still make
a formal application to the City Council .

D.
