Bob Manske <br /> 3516 Harding Street N.E. <br /> St. Anthony, Mn 55418 <br /> September 21, 1993 <br /> To the Planning Commission, City of St. Anthony <br /> Re: Proposed variance requested by owner of 3515 Harding Street <br /> It is my understanding that a variance has been requested to allow the owner of the above <br /> property to move his existing garage closer to the street and into a position that would <br /> require an approval of a variance to the requirement for minimum setback from the side lot <br /> line. <br /> While I am unable to attend the meeting due to another civic commitment, I will take this <br /> opportunity to speak against the approval of the variance. <br /> I have several concerns: <br /> The existing garage has a sway back and shows other signs of lack of maintenance. <br /> The owner does not have a good history of maintainance of the duplex. <br /> Design of the proposed breezeway between garage and house is unknown. <br /> I would hope that the owner would build an acceptable driveway and garage within the <br /> allowable limits of his property. <br /> Thank you for your consideration of my request. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> Bob Manske <br /> • <br />
