MEMORANDUM <br /> DATE: March 24, 2000 <br /> TO: Planning Commissioners <br /> FROM: encer Isom, Assistant City Manager <br /> ITEM: HILLCREST DEVELOPMENT FOR APACHE PLAZA PROPERTY; <br /> COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT; PETITION FOR NEW <br /> ZONING DISTRICT; AND AMENDMENT TO ZONING ORDINANCE <br /> • The applicant, Scott Tankenhoff, Hillcrest Development, has submitted plans for the <br /> redevelopment of the Apache Plaza property. Hillcrest's plans require some flexibility to <br /> redevelop the property; and in his petitions the applicant has noted that the current zoning <br /> ordinance does not contain a zoning district which allows for office, commercial, warehouse, <br /> or industrial uses. <br /> Therefore, Hillcrest is seeking approval of the following requests from the City: <br /> 1. Amendment to the Comprehensive Plan; <br /> 2. Petition for new zoning district from a C-1 Commercial to a C-2 Commercial; and <br /> 3. Amendment to the zoning ordinance for a change to the property district from C-1 to <br /> C-2. <br />
