"State building <br /> official" means the person who, under the direction and <br /> supervision of the commissioner, administers the code. <br /> Subp. 11a. state licensed facilities. "State licensed <br /> facilities" means a building and its grounds that are licensed <br /> by the state as a hospital, nursing home, supervised living <br /> facility, free-standing outpatient surgical center, or <br /> correctional facility. <br /> Subp. 12 . State-owned buildings. "State-owned buildings" <br /> means buildings and structures financed in whole or in part by <br /> state funds that are under the exclusive jurisdiction and <br /> custodial control of one or more state departments or agencies. <br /> Subp. 13 . Town. "Town" means a town meeting the <br /> requirements of Minnesota Statutes, section 368.01. <br /> Subp. 14 . Uniform Building Code or UBC. "Uniform -Building <br /> Code" or ,UBC" means the Uniform Building Code, as promulgated, <br /> by the international Conference of Building officials, Whittier, <br /> California, and as adopted by reference in part 1305.0010. <br /> Subp. 15. Ventilation. "Ventilation" is the process of <br /> supplying or removing air by natural or mechanical means to or <br /> from any space.
