APRIL 29th - - - <br /> Sometime ago, (April 7th. AA,u,i Bulletin) we alerted you to the fact that the <br /> Metropolitan Council had scheduled a Public Hearing on April 29th. to receive <br /> • comments on their proposed Surface Water Management Plan. The Council expects to <br /> adopt this plan sometime after the conclusion of the Public Hearing and issue it <br /> as Chapter in its Metropolitan Development Guide. <br /> We have now completed an analysis of the proposed Surface Vlater Management Plan <br /> and identified those portions and sections of the plan which are in conflict <br /> with or inconsistent ,,iith the Surface Water Management Act (Chapter 509) which <br /> was passed during the 1932 Legislative Session. The before referenced AMM Bulletin <br /> contained a summary of Chapter 509. Attached to this bulletin is a summary of <br /> the ASA Staff comments to the Councils proposed Guide Chapter which we will present <br /> at the Public Hearing. A number of city officials have asked for a copy of these <br /> comments to assist them in preparing testimony for the hearing. <br /> Again, we urge you to review the Councils proposal very carefully and if it is <br /> a concern to your city, present your comments at the April 29th. hearing. <br /> - - - JOINT LEGISLATIVE C01:2:EISSION ON METROPOLITAN GOVERNANCE <br /> Attached is a meeting notice of the Joint Legislative Commission on Metropolitan <br /> Governance. There will be opportunity for testimony at this meeting should you <br /> wish to testify.
