-3- <br /> Page vii and viii, 'Policy Summary' <br /> - policy 1; The word 'Managed' should be changed to 'coordinated' . <br /> - policy 2; Watersheds as defined by this policy are acceptable if they <br /> conform to DIIR boundries established per Laws 1977 Chapter 455, Section 33, <br /> Subdivision 7(a) as spelled out in Chapter 509. <br /> - policies 3 through 10; , These are acceptable <br /> - policy 11; Watershed plans should only be required to contain elements <br /> as per Chapter 509. They may contain more detail following guidelines <br /> recommended by this policy plan. Metropolitan Council review should be <br /> based on effects to the four systems as defined in the Comprehensive <br /> Planning Act of 1976. <br /> - policy 12; This is acceptable <br /> - policy 13; 1:4odification to the Land. Planning Act is unnecessary. Local <br /> plans should follow guidelines established by Chapter 509 but may provide <br /> more detail per guidelines recommended by this policy plan <br /> - policy 14; This policy suggests a possible treatment much the same as the <br /> Housing 'Policy 39' for A95 reviews. If this is .-ihat is intended, this <br /> policy is strongly opposed.
