The <br /> first two categories reflect productivity in that they measure both <br /> direct public contact and our efforts to create a safer environment <br /> in St. Anthony . The third category lists the routine functions <br /> necessary to maintain a fire department while the last category <br /> could be classed as :Miscellaneous public relations . <br /> If you compare 1982 with 1981 , you ' ll find a dramatic increase in <br /> out-of-station activities during 1982 . This increase is due to a <br /> more efficient inspection program, greater demands from the schools <br /> for safety education , and a more aggressive training program for <br /> our drivers.
