• MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br /> BETWEEN <br /> CITY OF COLUMBIA HEIGHTS <br /> AND <br /> CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> FOR <br /> SUPPLEMENTAL ENGINEERING SERVICES <br /> 1 . WHEREAS, the City of St . Anthony, herein identified as BUYER, <br /> desires to obtain supplemental engineering services, and <br /> 2. WHEREAS, the City of Columbia Heights, herein identified as <br /> VENDOR, agrees to supply said supplemental engineering services, <br /> and <br /> 3. WHEREAS, BUYER and VENDOR desire to specify the nature of and <br /> charges for said services, <br /> 4. _NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that BUYER agrees to purchase and <br /> • VENDOR agrees to supply the following services at the following <br /> charges, <br /> 5. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the BUYER has the sole discretion for <br /> determining the level of service provided within this agreement . <br /> 6. BUYER and VENDOR mutually agree to the provision of services in <br /> the following areas: (1 ) the direction and supervision of the <br /> BUYER'S draftperson, and (2) miscellaneous engineering studies, <br /> as. approved by BUYER and VENDOR. <br /> 7. BUYER and VENDOR mutually agree that the scope of this agreement <br /> does not include the provision of engineering services of a project <br /> nature. <br /> 8. BUYER agrees to pay the VENDOR the following charges for services <br /> provided upon presentation by the VENDOR of an itemized statement <br /> of the amount of time incurred for services to BUYER and how said <br /> time was spent. <br /> a. Labor charges for 1983 shall be: $34.07 per hour for principal <br /> engineer, $27.82 per hour for assistant engineer, $21 .62 per <br /> hour for Tech IV, $19.89 per hour for Tech III , and $16.50 per <br /> hour for Tech 11 . <br /> rte., 1 <br /> ti <br />
