The AMM.-is our organization. It was formed by Metro Area <br /> Maplewood City Officials and is directed by Metro Area City Officials. We are <br /> Greg Blees united by our interest in preserving the ability to serve our <br /> St. Paul constituents and their needs in the most effective, efficient, and <br /> responsive manner. All cities in the metro area have many significant, <br /> Bea Blomquist common concerns. The Legislature and Metropolitan Council view us as <br /> Eagan unique in comparison to the cities in other regions of Minnesota. 14 <br /> Jerry Dulgar is vital for us to continue to work together to maintain our opportunity <br /> Anoka for local decision making. <br /> Laura Fraser Our organization the AMM is a leading force in lobbying to preserve local <br /> Lake Elmo control. We are tested, continuously by the Legislature and Metropolitan <br /> Jarncs Miller Council in many areas. It is true that the area cities may differ among <br /> Minnetonka themselves on some issues. It is important to identify the issues of <br /> commonality, 86 policy positions in 1983-84, that we may work towards <br /> Neil Peterson jointly, and attempt compromise on others or at least identify those <br /> Bloorninoton <br /> areas that cities need to concentrate what effort they can on their own. <br /> William Sandberg <br /> North St. Paul Our organization the AMM is the vehicle through which we can share the <br /> costs to provide important information and data which would be too <br /> St. Paul ulcl�cibel expensive on an individual bases, but is useful to all cities. i.e. <br /> Metropolitan Area Salary Survey, Municipal Fee Survey. <br /> Dennis Schneider <br /> Fridley I look forward to working with you and all member city officials and we <br /> Jackie Slater need your commitment to succeed. We need participation by individual <br /> Minneapolis officials on our policy committees and we need financial commitment <br /> as reflected in the dues.
