HRA RESOLUTION NO . 83-007 <br /> • RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CONDEMNATION OF REAL PROPERTY <br /> WHEREAS , the St . Anthony Housing and Redevelopment Authority <br /> (HRA ) has negotiated for the purchase of certain real property , <br /> to and in furtherance of the Kenzie Terrace Redevelopment <br /> Project , heretofore adopted by the City of St. Anthony ( the <br /> City ) and the Housing and Redevelopment Authority , said real <br /> property being described as follows : <br /> See Attachment A (Legal Description) <br /> WHEREAS , the HRA has caused appraisals of the subject property <br /> to be made and has carefully considered such appraisals , and <br /> WHEREAS , the HRA has authorized by Minnesota Statutes , Section <br /> 462 .445 , Sub . 1 (6 ) to exercise the power of eminent domain , in <br /> the matter provided by Minnesota Statute 1945 , Chapter 117 , <br /> and by any amendments thereof or supplements thereto , and <br /> WHEREAS , the HRA has instructed the HRA consultant to commence <br /> negotiations for the purchase of 'real property described above , <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS , negotiations for the above described real property have <br /> not resulted in a purchase but have resulted in an impasse , <br /> NOW , THEREFORE , be it resolved by the St . Anthony Housing and <br /> Redevelopment Authority that the HRA attorney is directed to <br /> commence Eminent Domain proceedings to acquire the above described <br /> property . <br /> Passed by the St .
