Construction at the liquor store is progressing. <br /> 3 . Sealcoating is scheduled for the last week in July and the first <br /> week in August from 33rd to 29th Avenues N.E. east of Silver Lake <br /> Road; all alleyways; miscellaneous parking lots, etc. <br /> 4 . The school district has been notified about the roof leak which <br /> occurred in the City offices during the last rain storm. <br /> 5. Attended a meeting concerning the new optical scanning voting <br /> machines. The law states training sessions must be held for the <br /> public. These training sessions will be held after the machines <br /> arrive at the City (about January 1988) and will be advertised in <br /> the Newsletter. A three minute . training - tape for. voters and- a =half- <br /> hour training tape for election judges will be available. <br /> Dave Childs <br /> 1 . Mr.' Childs has been appointed- to the Minnesota City Managers <br /> Association (MCMA) board. <br /> 2 . Wants to meet with Chief Entner to determine costs related to moving <br /> the Fire Department to Parkview. <br /> 3 . Wants to arrange a— meeting with Department Heads to discuss. non- <br /> union benefits. <br /> 4 . Keeping in mind the $150 ,000 decrease in the 1988 City budget, Mr. <br /> Childs requested the Department Heads to submit a draft of their <br /> budgets to him by July 24th. <br /> 5 .
