The animal shall not be killed or , <br /> reclaimed and returned to the owner until so ordered by <br /> the police . Any licensed dog or other animal may be <br /> reclaimed and returned to the owner without the payment <br /> of the impounding fee and cost of food and care while <br /> impounded. Any animal impounded for having bitten a <br /> person or for actually being di.seased,- .which is <br /> subsequently released by the police, may be reclaimed <br /> by i.ts, owner upon payment of the . impounding fee, cost <br /> of food and care, and any medical .costs incurred while <br /> impounded. <br /> Section-, 5..
