1 UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> 2 Pull Tab Ordinance Adopted • <br /> 3 Motion by Ranallo, seconded by Enrooth to approve the third reading and <br /> 4 adopt the ordinance amendment which permits the sale of pull tabs for <br /> 5 charitable purposes in the two City on-sale liquor establishments. <br /> 6 ORDINANCE 1988-011 <br /> 7 AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO LAWFUL GAMBLING IN MUNICIPAL <br /> 8 LIQUOR DISPENSARIES FOR THE ON-SALE OF INTOXICATING LIQUOR; <br /> 9 AMENDING SECTION 445: 10 OF THE 1973 CODE OF ORDINANCES <br /> 10 Voting on the motion: <br /> 11 Aye: Ranallo, Enrooth, Sundland, Makowske. <br /> 12 Nay: Marks. <br /> 13 Notion carried. <br /> 14 Action on Pull Tab Lease Deferred <br /> 15 The Manager suggested that in view of differences between the consortium <br /> 16 and the City related to the lease for the space to be used by the <br /> 17 consortium, action on the lease and resolution in the agenda packet be <br /> 18 deferred for further negotiation. Terry Taylor of the St. Anthony <br /> 19 Village Sports Boosters was present but did not speak to the issue. <br /> 20 REPORTS <br /> 21 COUNCIL <br /> 22 Marks and Madden Proposed to Represent St. Anthony on Ramsey County <br /> 23 Regional Railroad Authority <br /> 24 The Councilmember requested that he be appointed to represent the <br /> 25 Council on the Intergovernmental Committee. Councilmember Makowske <br /> 26 suggested that Planning Commission member John Madden certainly had the <br /> 27 professional background to serve on the Technical Committee. She asked <br /> 28 that he be contacted and said if he couldn't serve, she had several <br /> 29 names to propose in his place. <br /> 30 Council Action <br /> 31 Motion by Ranallo, seconded by Enrooth to appoint George Marks to <br /> 32 represent the Council on the Intergovernmental Committee of the Ramsey <br /> 33 County Regional Railroad Authority and to request staff contact John <br /> 34 Madden to ascertain his interest in serving on the Technical Committee. <br /> 35 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 4 • <br />
