r <br /> STAFF MEETING NOTES <br /> November 1, 1989 <br /> The meeting began at 10: 10 A.M. Those present were Ray Nelson, <br /> Larry Hamer, Sue VanderHeyden, Lee Entner, and Connie Kroeplin. <br /> Don Hickerson was on vacation. <br /> Ray Nelson <br /> 1. The Apache Wells Saloon is closed for remodeling. It is <br /> expected to be re-opened November 13th; with the food portion <br /> opening on or about December 4th. Some of the food items <br /> being offered are "original Coney Island" , shredded onion <br /> rings; and "Juicy Lucy's" . The necessary staff will be hired <br /> soon. <br /> 2. Mr. Nelson conveyed his appreciation to the Public Works <br /> employees who are doing an excellent job on the remodeling at <br /> Apache. <br /> Larry Hamer <br /> 1. The Yarr's, who were directed by the City Council to bring <br /> their fence into conformance with the City Ordinance and were <br /> subsequently ticketed by the Police Department for not doing <br /> so, are now lowering the fence. <br /> 2. Work on the Evergreen Townhouses has begun. <br /> 3 . The Autumn Woods apartments have 12 tenants as of this date. <br /> 4 . There are four new homes under construction in the Village. <br /> 5. City streets have been swept 'of debris and leaves. <br /> 6. Jim Brost is in therapy after back surgery and will return to <br /> work- on November 20th. <br /> Lee Entner <br /> 1. An ad has been placed in the Bulletin publicizing the City's <br /> need for Fire Reserves. <br /> Connie Kroeplin <br /> 1. Preparations for the upcoming City General Election, November <br /> 7th, are nearly complete. <br />
