He also stated that an attack can be made <br /> 5 on a person or another animal . <br /> 6 Joseph Sevick said he is acquainted with the State law and feels it is <br /> 7 adequate and it was well written. <br /> 8 <br /> 9 Councilmember Marks observed that an ordinance amendment must be made <br /> 10 before the animal control ordinance can be changed. <br /> 11 <br /> 12 Motion by Marks, second by Makowske to accept the recommendations of the <br /> 13 City Manager to the ordinance and requested ordinance changes be presented <br /> 14 at the next Council meeting on January 23, 1990. <br /> 15 <br /> 16 <br /> 17 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 18 <br /> 19 7. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> 20 <br /> 21 There were no public hearings. <br /> 22 <br /> 23 8. NEW BUSINESS <br /> 24 <br /> 25 A. Stuart Bonniwell - Re: 1939 Audit Proposal <br /> 26 Motion by Marks, second by Makowske to accept the proposal of Stuart <br /> 27 Bonniwell .to conduct an audit of the financial statements of the City <br /> 28 of St. Anthony for the year ending December 31 , 1989 with the fees for <br /> 29 said service not to exceed $9,950. <br /> 30 <br /> 31 Councilmember Enrooth observed that last year the Council has expressed <br /> 32 a desire to go out for bids for this service. The City Manager was not <br /> 33 aware of this desire and indicated it would be appropriate to seek bids <br /> 34 for this audit. He noted that this recommended procedure will be followed <br /> 35 for the next audit. <br /> 36 <br /> 37 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 38 <br /> 39 <br /> 40 <br /> B. Mid-America Dairymen - Re: Request for Extension <br /> 41 1 The Assistant to the City Manager indicated she had attempted to reach <br /> 42 Jim Gammill , a representative of Mid-America Dairymen and not been able <br /> 43 to reach him. She noted that the six month extension already granted by <br /> 44 <br /> 45 the Council had expired. <br /> 46 <br /> 47 Motion by Ranallo, second by Enrooth to request the City Manager to take <br /> 48 the necessary steps to vacate the entire premises. <br /> • 49 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 50 <br />
