Welter Heating Company, Minneapolis, Mn. <br /> 8 <br /> 9 In response to Council_member Makowske's question regarding the NewMech <br /> 10 license, the City Manager advised this firm is involved in the treatment <br /> 11 plant matter let by the State. <br /> 12 <br /> 13 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 14 <br /> 15 3.2 Beer Licenses: <br /> 16 Motion by Ranallo, second by Wagner to approve the 3.2 beer license for <br /> 17 Dennis Fagerlee at Central . Park on July 17, 1990 and August 22, 1990 <br /> 18 and -the 3.2 beer license for Carol Anderson at Central Park on August <br /> 19 5, 1990. <br /> 20 <br /> 21 Councilmember Marks stated his opinion that it is an error to approve <br /> 22 beer licenses. <br /> 23 <br /> 24 Roll call : Makowske, Enrooth, Wagner, Ranallo - aye <br /> '25 Marks - nay • <br /> 26 <br /> 27 Motion carries <br /> 28 <br /> 29 5. PRESENTATION OF CLAIMS <br /> 30 <br /> 31 A. Reike Carroll Muller Associates, Inc. <br /> 32 Motion by Marks, second by Makowske to approve payment in the following <br /> 33 amounts to Reike Carroll Muller Associates, Inc. ; $292.97 for professional <br /> 34 services rendered from April 29, 1990 to May 26, 1990 for the temporary <br /> 35 water treatment facility; $786. 10 for professional services rendered from <br /> 36 April 1 , 1990 to April 28, 1990 for the temporary water treatment faci- <br /> 37 lity and $274.41 for professional services rendered from March 1 , 1990 <br /> 38 to June 2, 1990 for extra services related to grant amendment, and $4,277.97 <br /> 39 for professional services rendered from January 28, 1990 to May 26, 1990 <br /> 40 for Well House No. 3 which included an evaluation of the existing well <br /> 41 pump and installation of a new motor. <br /> 42 <br /> 43 The first two bills addressing the water treatment facility resulted <br /> 44 from verifying new land disposal regulations, new federal regulations , <br /> 45 toxicity regulations, and preparation of data for the Public Works <br /> 46 Director for the next carbon change out. <br /> 47 <br /> 48 The third bill resulted from additional information to justify the higher <br /> 49 bids. Reike Carroll Muller Associates, Inc. does not have an electrical <br /> 50 consultant on staff to do the work on the Well House No. 3 nor to conduct <br />
