RECEIVED <br /> INTENT TO PARTICIPATE ^ <br /> WHEREAS. under the Federal Highway Safety Act of 19�ft e aG, <br /> the objectives set forth by the Department of Transportation <br /> is the conformance of all traffic control devices to the <br /> Minnesota Manual on Uniform Traf f-i c Control Devices for: <br /> Streets and Highways (MMUTCD) ; and <br /> WHEREAS, funds are available through the Federal Highway <br /> Administration for the installation of regulatory and warning <br /> signs/devices; and <br /> WHEREAS, ---�- -- 11 -- ------ --------�---6----- <br /> ( inty►, Muni ipality or ,Towns ip) <br /> ------ ----- -- '- --�'--- -- =-------------- <br /> i the County of <br /> is desirous of bringing the traffic control devices on <br /> streets and roads located within its geographical limits <br /> into conformance with Minnesota standards: <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED THAT: <br /> 1 . The Participant will comply with the conditions set forth <br /> in the Project Description. The Participant will remove, <br /> replace or install all regulatory and warning signs, <br /> delineators and object markers necessary to comply with <br /> Minnesota standards (MMUTCD) as determined through an <br /> approved inventory of inplace non-electrical traffic <br /> control devices.. <br /> The State of Minnesota, Department of Transportation <br /> (MnDOT) , will administer the program, and will be <br /> responsible for documentation requirements as specified- <br /> by the Federal Highway Administration. <br /> Reimbursement (90% of the eligible total costs) will be <br /> based on approval of the field i nspecti on , and the <br /> materials certification , and satisfactory review of .-- <br /> claims documents. The Participant will be responsible <br /> for the remaining 10% of the eligible total costs. <br /> The Participant agrees to maintain all such material <br /> installations in satisfactory condition. <br /> 4. The U. S. Department of Transportation Regulations on Non- <br /> Discrimination are to be complied with by the . <br /> Participant .
