Expiring Terms on Planning Commission <br /> 9 <br /> 10 The City Manager advised that the terms of two members of <br /> 11 the Planning Commission are expiring. He will contact <br /> 12 them regarding reappointment or will publish a notice in <br /> 13 the City' s newspaper inviting residents interested in an <br /> 14 appointment to contact him. <br /> 15 <br /> 16 2 . Reschedule Regular Council Meeting <br /> 17 <br /> 18 The City Council is holding its public hearing for the <br /> 19 1993 budget on December 7th . There is a regular Council <br /> 20 meeting scheduled for December 8th . <br /> 21 <br /> 22 Motion by Marks , second by Enrooth to change the first <br /> 23 Council meeting in December to December 7th at 7: 00 p.m. <br /> 24 <br /> 25 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 26 — - - - -- --- - — - <br /> 27 8 . PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> 28 •29 There were no public hearings . <br /> 30 <br /> 31 9 . . NEW BUSINESS <br /> 32 <br /> 33 A. Appointments to the Environmental Quality/Recycling <br /> 34 Committee <br /> 35 <br /> 36 The Mayor expressed a concern that the recycling dimension of <br /> 37 this committee is not overlooked . Councilmember Enrooth <br /> 38 mentioned that two members already appointed to the Committee <br /> 39 served on the Recycling Committee. <br /> 40 <br /> 41 Mayor Ranallo inquired if anyone on the staff has discussed <br /> 42 the duties of those who would serve on this committee. Urbia <br /> 43 responded that all of the applications had come in response to <br /> 44 the article in the City ' s newsletter. No phone calls were <br /> 45 received . <br /> 46 <br /> 47 Motion by Fleming, second by Wagner to appoint David Benke to <br /> 48 serve on the Environmental Quality/Recycling Committee . <br /> 49 <br /> 50 Motion carried unanimously <br /> • <br />
