ANTHONY GABCLAIMANT: PREUSSNE-R, CARRIER D/A: 07/15/92 Dear Mr. Larson As you are aware, our office has investigated the above captioned accident on behalf of the League of Minnesota . Cities Insurance Trust, in which the City of St. Anthony is a member. Under covenant number CMC12702 the City is afforded general liability coverage with a per occurrence limit of $600, 000. 00. Medical expense coverage is also . available with a limit of $1, 000- 00. The City does have an all lines deductible under endorsement ME030. This provides for a $10, 000. 00 each occurrence deductible, a general aggregate deductible of $50, 000. 00. If this general annual aggregate deductible is exceeded, a $1, 000. 00 per occurrence deductible would apply. We have concluded the above captioned claim on a medical payments basis. As you are aware, this coverage is available, up to a $1, 000. 00 limit, simply as a result of an injury occurring on City property. This particular accident occurred on the City driveway/sidewalk adjacent to City Hall. Therefore the medical payments coverage would apply. The medical bills not covered by the claimant' s own insurance totaled $732 . 53 . We have settled with the claimant on that amount. We have issued a check and obtained a release, a copy of which is enclosed. In addition to the med pay amount, we issued drafts of $11. 00 and $16. 68 for medical records. These would also be subject to recovery under the City' s deductible. "Where quality really matters."
