• CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> RESOLUTION 95-033 <br /> A RESOLUTION RELATING TO NORTHWEST YOUTH <br /> AND FAMILY SERVICES <br /> WHEREAS, the process for distribution of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) <br /> funds was changed for 1995; and <br /> WHEREAS, this change has promise for a more equitable and accountable method of <br /> distribution in the future, but further review of the process highlights the needs <br /> for some modifications; and <br /> WHEREAS, this year's process has put our desire to meet the housing needs of low to <br /> moderate income constituents in competition with the social service needs of <br /> these same constituents; and <br /> WHEREAS, we believe this violates the intent of the stated CDBG priorities and we believe <br /> the following request to be within the intent of those priorities. <br /> S NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony <br /> hereby requests that the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners act to reallocate $100,000 of <br /> CDBG funds to apply toward-the capital request of Northwest Youth and Family Services. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that $50,000 of the contingency amount set aside by Ramsey <br /> County CDBG be applied in a like manner. <br /> Adopted this day of , 1995. <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> City Clerk <br /> Reviewed for administration: <br /> City Manager <br />
