• CITY OF ST ANTHONY <br /> RESOLUTION #96-066 <br /> A RESOLUTION CERTIFYING THE CITY OF ST. ANTHONY 1997 TAX LEVY <br /> AND BUDGET IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE TRUTH IN TAXATION ACT <br /> WHEREAS, the Truth in Taxation Law requires the City of St. Anthony provide <br /> Hennepin and Ramsey Counties with a certified 1997 tax levy and budget; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the City Manager's proposed 1997 budget; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council held a Public Hearing on December 4, 1996, 7:00 P.M. in <br /> its Council Chambers to discuss the tax levy with the residents of St. Anthony; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council held a subsequent hearing on December 18, 1996, 7:00 P.M. <br /> in its Council Chambers to adopt the final 1997 property tax levy and budget; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, -the information required for the City to calculate a definitive tax levy has been <br /> collected. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that: <br /> 1) the 1997 property tax levy is: <br /> Property Tax Levy $1,864,384 <br /> Less: H.A.C.A. ( 334,378) <br /> Total General Fund Levy $1,530,006 <br /> Housing and Redevelopment Authority Levy $ 20,000 <br /> Less: H.A.C.A. ( 4,465) <br /> Total Housing and Redevelopment Authority Levy $ 15,535 <br /> Special Assessment/Road Improvements $ 134,005 <br /> Total 1997 Tax Levy $1,679,546 <br /> • 2) The 1997 Operating Budget totals $5,559,175 <br />
