CALL TO ORDER. <br /> 6 The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. following the Pledge of Allegiance led by Mayor <br /> 7 Ranallo. <br /> 8 H. ROLL CALL. <br /> 9 Councilmembers Present: Ranallo, Marks,Enrooth, Wagner, and Faust. <br /> 10 Also Present: City Manager Michael Mornson, Liquor Operations Manager Michael Larson and <br /> 11 City Attorney William Soth. <br /> 12 <br /> 13 III. OPEN MEETING TO SET 1997 TAX LEVY. <br /> 14 Mayor Ranallo declared the public hearing open at 7:02 P.M. <br /> 15 IV. APPROVAL OF DECEMBER 4, 1996 TRUTH IN TAXATION PUBLIC HEARING <br /> 16 MEETING MINUTES. <br /> 17 Motion by Marks, second by Wagner to approve the December 4, 1996 Truth in Taxation Public <br /> • Hearing Meeting Minutes with the following changes: <br /> 19 Page 1, Line 27 before"the"insert"even though", before "increased" insert"marginally", and <br /> 20 remove the word"but' <br /> 21 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 22 <br /> 23 V. DISCUSSION ON SETTING 1997 BUDGET AND TAX LEVY. <br /> 24 Mayor Ranallo noted there were no residents in the audience who wished to speak regarding this <br /> 25 issue. <br /> 26 VI. RESOLUTION 96-066, RE: ADOPTION OF 1997 CERTIFICATION LEVY. <br /> 27 Motion by Marks, second by Wagner to approve Resolution 96-066 regarding, Certifying the <br /> 28 City of St. Anthony 1997 Tax Levy at$1,679,546 and Budget at$5,559,175 in compliance with <br /> 29 the Truth in Taxation Act. <br /> 30 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 31 VII. CLOSE PUBLIC HEARING. <br /> 32 Motion by Enrooth, second by Marks to close the Public Hearing at 7:05 P.M. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br />
