June 20, 1997
•
To: Michael Mornson
St. Anthony City Manager
Mr. Mornson,
Hello! I am responding to the article in the Bulletin regarding the opportunity to
be part of a parks advisory task force. I would like to be considered.
I am married and have four kids; we use the parks extensively and are very
appreciative for them. Although we moved to St. Anthony only a year ago from
NE Minneapolis, we have been involved with St. Anthony sports for several years.
This year, we have a daughter in pre-Tball, another daughter in soccer, one son in
baseball, and the other plays football for the Huskies. Besides all that, my wife
operates, a day care out of our home and often makes use of the nearby parks..
I am employed at a local private college, working in the Admissions department.
My job calls for experience working with others, both individually and in groups.
I am in charge of the department budget, and I direct the recruiting efforts of six
admission counselors.
I would really enjoy being part of a group that helps to ensure the future beauty
and usefulness of our park system. I would also like to get to know more of my
St. Anthony neighbors better. If you think I could be useful to the task force,
please let me know. Thank you!
Sinc ely,
en K.
