• CITY OF ST ANTHONY <br /> RESOLUTION #97-042 <br /> A RESOLUTION SETTING THE CITY OF ST. ANTHONY PROPOSED 1998 TAX LEVY <br /> AND BUDGET IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE TRUTH IN TAXATION ACT <br /> WHEREAS, the Truth in Taxation Law requires that the City of St. Anthony provide <br /> Hennepin and Ramsey Counties with a proposed certified 1998 tax levy <br /> and budget; and <br /> WHEREAS, the information required for the City Council to make a definitive tax levy <br /> cannot be determined until the City of St. Anthony holds its public hearings; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the furnishing of this proposed tax levy and budget is made contingent upon any <br /> revisions being allowed if the current law is modified. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that: <br /> 1) The 1998 proposed property tax levy is: <br /> Property Tax Levy $1,901,145 <br /> Less:'H.A.C.A. 334,378) <br /> Proposed General Fund Levy \ $1,566,767 <br /> Housing and Redevelopment Authority Levy $ 20,000 <br /> Less: H.A.C.A. ( 4,465) <br /> Proposed Housing and Redevelopment Authority Levy $ 15,535 <br /> Special Assessment/Road Improvements $ 174,089 <br /> Total 1998 Proposed Tax Levy $1,756,391 <br /> 2) The 1998 General Fund Proposed Budget totals $3,130,900 <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that: <br /> 1) The hearing date for discussion of the 1998 proposed levy and budget is set at <br /> • December 3, 1997, 7:00 P.M. in its Council Chambers and if necessary be <br /> reconvened on December 17, 1997, 7:00 P.M. in its Council Chambers. <br />
