Method to determine emergency financial relief to residents . Those <br /> Adents requesting funding by October 31 , 1997 would include in. writing a <br /> complete listing- of the damages they suffered in the July 1 flood . the <br /> listing would include: <br /> a. Item damaged including detailed description . <br /> b. Brand name and model number if available . <br /> c . Year purchased . <br /> d. Amount paid for when purchased . <br /> e . For items that have been repaired or replaced , a copy of the receipt <br /> dated between July 1 , 1997 and October 31 , 1997 . <br /> f . Additional expenses incurred because of the July 1 -flood would have to <br /> be listed in detail and , where possible, supported by receipts . <br /> Reimbursement to residents will be made on a current market value basis , <br /> deeciation of items will be taken into effect as well as a salvage value <br /> or market value at the end of its depreciable life . The city will contract <br /> with an independent insurance adjuster who will review the lists submitted <br /> by residents and visit each resident' s property to determine the current <br />
