The original contract was to prepare a site survey and <br /> construction document package for the project based upon a preliminary construction budget of <br /> $150,000(as identified in the Central Park Concept Plan). <br /> Additions, changes and refinements to the park design over the past six months have increased <br /> the construction budget from$150,000 to about$240,000.This has also resulted in additional <br /> work for BRW in the areas of design, drafting and project management totaling$5,500. You <br /> have also asked us to propose fees for providing additional services in the area of.construction <br /> observation this spring/summer.Based upon this we hereby request additional fees in the <br /> amount of $ 14, 890.The breakdown of these fees is as follows: <br /> • Additional design,drafting and project management fees = $5,500.00 <br /> • Construction Observation (4% of construction,$234,750)= $9,390.00 <br /> Total Amount Requested $142890.00 <br /> We are excited to see the park's vision turn into reality and will continue to provide the best <br /> service possible.
