Resolution No. 00-087. <br /> 4 Cavanaugh requested that page 16 of the Council's agenda packets, which is a letter regarding <br /> 5 Northwest Youth and Family Services,be pulled from the Consent Agenda and tabled until the <br /> 6 next meeting. <br /> 7 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 8 VIII. PUBLIC HEARINGS. <br /> 9 None. <br /> 10 IX. GENERAL POLICY BUSINESS OF THE COUNCIL. <br /> 11 A. Resolution No. 00-082, re: Northwest Quadrant Task Force. <br /> 12 Mayor Cavanaugh reviewed for the audience that this project details the growing need for rede- <br /> 13 velopment of the northwest quadrant of the City, described as the 250 acres bounded by 37th <br /> 14 Avenue NE on,the south, the City corporate limits on the north; Silver Lake Road on the east; <br /> �15 and the City corporate limits on the west. This property,also includes the Apache Plaza Mall and <br /> 16 the Salvation Army Fresh Air Camp site. <br /> 17 City Manager Michael Morrison stated that there will be a preplanning meeting on Thursday, <br /> 18 October 26, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. and the Council is invited to attend. <br /> 19 Thuesen noted that he understood that the meetings regarding this project are open, however, he <br /> 20 noted that the current Council has opened up meetings for public involvement. He wondered if <br /> 21 these project meetings would be televised ori:'ca_ble, or if minutes would be taken in order to open <br /> 22 up the communication process in order to keep all of the residents informed. <br /> 23 Hodson agreed with Thuesen that some type of recording, tape or otherwise, should be made <br /> 24 available to the residents. <br /> 25 Cavanaugh noted that he had a meeting with the Cable Commission soon and he would bring the <br /> 26 issue up at that time to see what could be done. <br /> 27 Motion by Sparks to approve Resolution 00-082, a Resolution Establishing the Northwest Quad- <br /> 28 rant Task Force, wherein the City Council of the City of St. Anthony,hereby appoints the fol- <br /> 29 lowing individuals to said task force: <br /> •30 Jane Eckert(representing ISD #282);Rosemary Franzese, Jim Zellmer(representing <br /> 31 Church of St. Charles Borromeo), Bob_Foster(representing the St. Anthony Chamber of <br /> 32 Commerce); Mary Rockwood; Allen A.
