The City also <br /> organizes and promotes its annual Spring Clean Up Day. The Recycling Coordinator works with the <br /> local newsletters and community groups to encourage and maintain recycling efforts throughout, <br /> the City. <br /> 6. What measurable goals do you have for source reduction and recycling activities in 2003? <br /> Please describe how you will measure progress toward those goals and how activities will be <br /> evaluated. <br /> The City of St. Anthony proposes to use SCORE funds to maintain and increase participation and <br /> tonnage collected. One measurable goal is to increase publicity for recycling. In 2003,the City will <br /> bring more waste reduction and recycling information to the City's web site at www.ci.saint- <br /> anthony.mn.us. The City has recently renovated the web site and it has a new look as well as new <br /> information and improved organization. The activity will be evaluated through looking at the web <br /> site at the beginning and the end of 2003 and evaluating the web site content to see whether there <br /> is an increase. <br /> 7. If any activities will be conducted by a contractor or subcontractor, what provisions will be made to <br /> monitor and audit (sub)contractor activities? <br /> City staff reviews the recycling volume/numbers that come in from the three residential <br /> haulers. The City requires regular reporting and monitors the reports. <br />
